The first step to moving your business to the cloud is research. Consider your options and find the right partner. Cloud computing can have real benefits, but without honest advice you can end up buying the wrong thing competently.
Once you have established that cloud is the right direction, your provider should support the move itself, offering as much or as little help as you need to be running in a sensible timeframe.
Analyse your existing infrastructure
Start from the business, not the servers. What are your short and long-term goals? What is working and what is not? How do your employees need their tools to work for them? Could a different approach lift productivity? What has to change technically for those goals to be reachable?
Consider a trial
Any credible provider can offer a trial or a demonstration. Choose the people who will actually use the system to run it, because they will ask the questions that matter. Watch how quickly they adapt, how much training is implied, and how much more efficient the team genuinely is on the new approach.
Plan the migration properly
Sequence the low-risk systems first and prove the approach before touching anything critical. Agree what success looks like in advance, and agree who is responsible for the data that moves.
Ask the awkward questions
What happens to your data if you leave? What is the restore process, and when was it last tested? Who has administrative access? A provider that answers these plainly is a provider worth having.
